This place is cheap but still good. Definitely the perfect thing if you want to eat more than fast food but don't want to sit down at a restaurant. It's so easy to place a to-go order and get it within 10-20 minutes. You get chicken/pork/veggie entrees for $6.45 or beef/shrimp/mixed meat for $7.39

They use the same white cheap styrofoam to go containers for everything that you normally get at restaurants. So if you get an entree, they fill the largest section (front half) with your entree and give two scoops of your choice of white or fried rice in those sections for the sides in the back half of the container. The white rice is a 100 times better than the brown rice, pretty sure they just mix white rice with soy sauce in a pan and call it a day for their brown rice.

Basically I don't want any rice and would much rather have the entire container filled with my entree item because it feels like I'm getting ripped off this way with getting all the rice.

The most worth it menu options that give you the most for your money are their fried rices and noodles, they fill the entire container and don't give you any scoops of rice. The shrimp fried rice and spicy chicken Lo-Mein are the BEST.

As for the entrees they give with the two scoops of rice, the Sesame chicken is sweet and the General Tso is sweet and spicy- I like both! My dad's favourite is the Kung Pao Chicken because it also comes with a ton of crunchy vegetables and savoury sauce.

If their dumplings are on sale GET IT. Only $2.99 for a small container of fried or steamed dumplings with the saltiest soy sauce you'll ever have.

The fried biscuits are little fried soft biscuits tossed lightly in sugar.

Crab Rangoon was not good, way too much crab. Stay away from their Sweet and Sour Sauce- think synthetic pink.

Would definitely come here again, but not because I crave it. This is a, too lazy to cook, but don't want to spend too much kind of mood establishment.

I'm glad many other like this place as it must meet a need in the area. However, the quality of protein used isn't up to my normal so I'm not a fan and just wanted to write my two cents.

I don't know where to begin... ugh Texas Chinese restaurants have been such a let down. Except Rice Xpress in Royse City off of I-30, which is delicious. I needed to grab a bite after class today, so I stopped here. I ordered the combination rice (no pork), chicken wings and crab rangoon. $17 dollars WASTED Literally.
Chicken wings: Three wings split (six pcs total) for $3.99.
    -tough meat
-bland to the taste (mostly black pepper on them)
    Crab Rangoon: Four pieces $3.99
    -imitation cream cheese
-mostly scallions instead of crab meat
    Combo rice $7.99
Dry... Even after I added two packets of soy sauce.
-Mostly chicken throughout the entire dish
-ONLY THREE SHRIMP IN MY RICE.. THREE:-(
-The scrambled egg was over cooked.
First time in a long time I threw my food away. I've had better Chinese food at flea markets and swap meets compared to this place. I wouldn't recommend anyone try this restaurant.

The Health department gave this place a bad low grade..
Until they fix the problem..something about how the shrimp isn't being cooked all the way and a couple easily fixable temporary issues.
    Will post more info.
